Major reconstruction was carried out between 2000 and 2003.n May, 05, 2012 a swastika has been spray-painted on the fence for the Grand Choral Synagogue, as what seems to be an anti-Semitic act.[6] It's not the first time that a synagogue is being desecrated in Russia. According to the CFCA (the Coordination Forum for Countering Antisemitism), the frequency of Antisemitic incideמts like that is only increasing.
