Sinagoga del Agua or Synagogue of the Water The businessman, Mr. Fernando Crespo, discovered the Water Synagogue during a real estate intervention carried out in several properties that made up this space and that are located in the heart of the historic center of Úbeda. The original idea of ​​​​the real estate project was to transform the old houses into apartments, commercial premises and parking lots. After the discovery of various elements such as the arches of the Synagogue, the Women's Gallery and the Ritual Bath (Mikvéh), the initial project was discarded. The recovery of the space began in 2007 and as of February 27, 2010 it opened to the public. Based on existing studies it seems to be a Synagogue prior to the 14th century.
