Carvajal Square and 15th c house in the Alcazar neighborhood across the street from the Casa Museo. The home was owned by Gonzalo de Carbajal and remains a private home. He (c.1590 –1661) was a Spanish nobleman. He occupied military and political positions during the Viceroyalty of Peru, being Mayor of Buenos Aires, and Lieutenant governor of Santa Fe Province.
