In 1931, the building was made into a public school. When the dictatorship of General Franco arrived, the school changed its name to "General Primo de Rivera" and the teaching of active pedagogy was replaced by the system of nationalist ideology.In 1983, with the advent of democracy, the school regained the name of Baldiri Reixac.
