Wadi El-Natrun
St. Bishoy Monastery - the main entrance to the left, the bell tower in the rear, and the keep to the right which dates to the 5th century and was used to protect against attacks by the Berbers. It was a fortress where the monks would retreat when under attack. There are churches on the second and third floors.
