Yellow and black Alexandria taxicabs, referred to as "bumblebees" by our trip leader.This is where the Soviet Union sold its Lada cars – Alexandria in Egypt has thousands of yellow and black Lada (model 2105 and 2106 mostly) plowing the streets of this busy city. Interestingly, many owners/drivers have replaced the Lada grill emblem for Dodge, Peugeot, Nissan, and so on.
