The hotel is located in Monzaga Gardens, known as a beautiful park around the Monzaga Palace. However, the park was almost totally dug up. It took 10-15 minutes by shuttle over bumpy dirt roads to get to the entrance to the park alone. Across the street from the park entrance was the only place to visit anywhere nearby, the Gomla Market, an Egyptian type Walmart.
