Tunis
We were invited to the front porch of a house across the street and treated to coffee and then Pepsi. A young man joined us, a family member, home for vacation from his job as an engineer in Dubai who spoke perfect English. We had a lovely visit, learned the grandfather had been a major figure in this town, possibly the richest. He had a very large house which had been destroyed about 10 years earlier, so this whole section of houses were subsequently built for the family. They told us the story of Evelyn, the Swiss potter whose house was further down the road. We felt so privileged to have had this wonderful "adventure"
