Hello everyone,

Afer our trip to Ha Long Bay we were taken back to Hanoi where we spent another day of sight seeing. Firstly we headed to the military museum. The main attraction was the American planes, helicopters and tanks which were apparently captured during the war. We also checked out all of the various exhibits such as the one about agent orange and other ones about the wars with the French and the Americans. A lot of the information was very bias in favour of the Vietnamese so I guess it all has to be taken with a pinch of salt. We also went to the top of the flag tower which is on the site where you can get really good views across the city. Next we went for a walk up to the mausoleum where the preserverd body of Ho Chi Minh is kept. You can actually pay to go in and have a look but we opted to just observe the building from the outside!

Later that evening we left our hotel and got on the sleeper train to Hue!
