Hey all! We're in Nelson now, staying with Joseph, Cushla, Tom, Matt, Patrick and Bridgette Hassan. Today the family took us out to the spectacular Abel Tasman National Park. We went bush walking and then stopped off by the sea for lunch. The views are so sweeeet, it would be criminal to try and describe them as I wouldn't do them justice. But to give you an impression it encompasses all my favourite things: mountains, seaside and forest- you can't get better than this National Park! It was so lovely to spend the day with the Hassan family who have been really welcoming to us. We also checked out Nelson today, and Cushla was trying to entice Tom and I to stay in New Zealand by showing us potential places we could work.. there's a music school and Matt's secondary school are looking for a Spanish teacher! So who knows.....

A little message for Joe Yardley: if you're referring to Super 14s, Eden Park is the home park for the Blues, and if you're referring to international rugby, it's the All Blacks' home park, but they also have other home grounds. But if you're referring to rugby league (NRL) Eden Park is the home park for the Warriors. Next question.

Great times - taking in some awesome scenery and a good ol' fashioned chingwag about Lord Of The Rings, rugby and kakapos. We're SO New Zealanders now!!! I want to extend a thanks to Joseph and Cushla for showing us around Abel Tasman, which is completely beautiful. TY
