Woke up to the sound of Spanish music and big huge Winnie the pooh cups full of coffee....toast with fig marmalade..... Good way to start the day.... Our laundry was still wet... Not much we can so in the pack it went..we walked into Santo Domingo about 8kms ..... There was a smell of sweet flower.... We couldn't figure out what it was... But it was nice ..... We walked through farm fields and then into potato fields and through an industrial area of what we thi...

Well it was interesting night in the municipal albergue.... Glad to be out of there .... We made some breakfast and had an instant coffee.... Seems to get us through to the first cafe we can find for some cafe con leche....we had a steep walk out of town and then a nice 6 km walk to a small town called alzofra..... The sun coming up over the hills behind us was magical.... The fields were glowing and sooooo very green.... Many pictures taken!! We stopped at a caf...

Well we had a lovely sleep in the private albergue only one other guy showed up and he didn't snore !! There was supposed to be breakfast but no one showed so mom and I made our own out of leftovers from supper last night.... With an instant coffee!! Off we went heading for a place called Ventosa which was 8 km away..... It was a nice walk through vineyards up to a town on a hill.... We went into the bar and had a cafe and mom asked if there was mass at the chur...

Well our cute little street turned into party all night long until 5am!!! Thank goodness for ear plugs !! Up and at it and on the road by 730.... We have decided we are not going to walk in the afternoon heat so will see how far we get.... Walked out of Logrono 6 km to a beautiful park and lake called Plantano .... The park went on forever and there was a beautiful breeze so we were enjoying it.....there were men lined up along this stone wall fishing.... Appar...

Well after the day I had yesterday we decided today would be a good day to take a break... We woke up this morning to find a couple yes two people sleeping in the bunk above mom and no one above me.... We had a giggle and packed up then on our way... We caught the bus and when we were walking down the aisle the bus driver took off and mom missed a step and fell hard into a guy.... She landed on her knee which is ok and hurt a finger while trying to stop the fall...
