The old city in Rhodes was so very charming. Our plans were to stay on board. Glad we didn't. We were able to find some nice shops. I found the pendant I had been looking for, a coin with Apollo, the sun god and protector of the island, on front and the pomegranate flower, the national flower, on the back. Last night was "elegant" night for dinner and the boat was very rough. Today is Crete and Santorino. Tomorrow Athens for the Acropolis. Then we go to the airport at 3am for the trip home. I hope our flight arrangements are better on the return. We leave from Athens to Amsterdam to Chicago and then to Cinci.
