It's really hard to believe that "home" will be infernally far away. I mean college is only two hours away - that's feasible enough not to mention it's easy enough to get back home. But how many thousands of miles will be between me and my home town? To many I'm sure - I'm nervous, really nervous. My stomach's been in a knot all day. And I woke up at 10:30, so yeah, it's affected my appetite to the point I'm just not hungry.
We're staying at a hotel near the airport - I'll be flying out at 8:30 - I'm glad I'll have Amanda, Greg and Clint to talk to, I'll be glad for the company and the distraction. Now don't get me wrong I'm totally stoked in getting to go to Japan. After all it's a dream come true. It's awesome.
But I've still near cried like three times today.
I'm also scared for a friend's mom - Mrs. Judy (who is like another mother to me), she's been in the hospital since Friday and they're thinking of having to transfer her to Emory for further tests. I'm worried for Andy - I know she's going to be running around with her head cut off for the next couple days while Mrs. Judy is getting better (because there is no doubt in my mind that she will get better).
On a lighter note, Jim's Passport FINALLY came through (lol: my lazy self finally got it done) and he's set for the plane. I kind of feel bad for Brown Bear; He's stuffed in a suit case between shoes and shampoo - poor old guy.
Mom promises to send me lots of pictures for when I get to Nagoya so I'll be able to make a nice collage on my wall of pictures.
Untill then I suppose I'll have to deal with chatting people up online.
It's raining… The one thing I don't want - although I suppose if it rains now MAYBE it won't rain tomorrow! I really don't want delays, but hopefully will work out.
Anyway, I suppose I'll talk at you all later. Remember if you wanna talk you can always email me! [email protected]
Until later! Matta ne
