Phillips Family Travels
We did not get up too early as we were still tired from the previous day's travel. Once up we set about finding breakfast around the bustling local streets in Tsim Sha Tsui. Then walked down to the water front on the Kowloon side looking across the amazing view to HK island. Wow that is some view. We then visited a few shopping malls which are all massive and then hopped on the tube again to Central where instead of getting the tram up onto Victoria Peak we hopped on the number 15 bus. This took an hour to get to the top as the traffic was bad but it was very interesting seeing all the different part of HK, I can't believe how many sky scrapers there are. We timed out visit to the summit to coincide with dusk so we witnessed the transition from day to night. The sky line came alive once it was dark. The bus trip down was much quicker 30 mins and meant we missed the massive queues to get down on the tram. It was very touristy at the top so it was a good job the view was so wonderful. We got back on the tube to go to a dim sum restaurant I had read about near Prince Edward MTR station. There was a 30 minute wait to eat so I was out voted and we went to another restaurant. Unfortunately this was a little too 'local' for our taste and we left disappointed (and still hungry) back home via our local super market and straight to sleep after another very busy day.
