Lisa and I were costumers in our early years. It's how we met-at Chicago's old St. Nicholas Theatre, (NOT-Old St. Nick). When she visited me in NYC we went to lunch (I was at Juilliard then) and we were hit by a truck. So those of you that remember, yes, this is THAT Lisa. Ruined by favorite pair of shoes.
So Lisa waved her wand, and we were in Bayeux. Imagine two costumers inspecting a 230 foot embroidered linen-storyboard, really. Now imagine it was created in 1070! It tells the tale of Poor Harold, King of England, being shot in the eye by William the Conqueror in 1066. It says alot more, too, but I don't want this to be 230 feet long, either.
Gorgeous colors. Amazing detail. Incredible condition. The building looks like the set for Les Mis.
We had Diet Cokes along a beautiful stream in a little teagarden with huge flowering baskets. How's that for a string of prepositional phrases?
