Last night we went and saw David Copperfield at the MGM grand. His show was excellent and some of his illusions were amazing. Today we drove in our BMW 528 to Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon - West Rim which is run by the Hualapai tribe. All national parks in the USA are shut due to the government shutdown so the tour busses that normally would have gone to the national park side of the Grand Canyon were at the west rim so it was very busy. Not only was it busy but it was really cold so we had to buy warm clothing at the gift shop!! We also did the Skywalk which is amazing. The Grand Canyon is a sight to see. There are no barriers so someone could easily fall over the edge - very scary. We went to two lookouts and the Guano lookout was amazing.
