It's nearly Christmas and also two weeks today until I leave for New Zealand!

I am flying to Gatwick on Monday 3rd January with Marion and we are staying overnight at the Travelodge and making our way up to Heathrow the next day. Our flight is at about 9.30pm on 4th so we have plenty of time to get there.

I am so happy I am flying out there with Marion - we were both scared to travel alone so it's made me very happy to have company.

My last day at work was Friday (17th December) and it was a sad day. We had our department Christmas lunch and ended up doing karaoke, which was great fun. They sung me 'Leaving on a Jet Plane' and there were some tears shed. I am going to miss everyone a lot.

Anyhoo, have a merry Christmas everyone and I will write more when I have actually left the island!
