I am lying on a row of chairs in Bangkok airport and I'm meant to be trying to catch a couple of hours sleep before our connecting flight but I am finding it hard to wind down, despite only having (at most) 3 hours sleep on the plane and very little the night before at the Travelodge. I will be soooo glad to sleep in a bed tomorrow night!

Bangkok is very warm - as you come off the plane it's like walking into a wall of heat :0/ Needless to say that after all day travelling yesterday, 11 hours on a plane and 3 hours in a stuffy airport I really want a shower and hair wash! Although, at this point, just a fresh t-shirt would be nice.

I have figured that I should have got a bigger bag for my hand luggage (I told you so Ben!) so I tried to find a little wheelie case but haven't found one here for less than £55 as every shop around here seems to be designer labels :0/ I will hopefully get one in Auckland.

The airport is very clean and there are beautiful flower arrangements everywhere - makes a change from scummy gatwick!

I really must try and sleep now as we only have a couple of hours till we board. Lying horizontally feel so good!
