We had a bit of a lay in today as we didn't have anything planned to do until tomorrow. We woke up and chilled in the room playing with the kitten for a while before we headed out for some brunch. We found a cafe on the corner of the main road which Dan had spotted earlier that morning while on his walk to bus cigarettes. The menu looked good and they had a good deal for breakfast so we decided to eat there. I ordered a banana shake and a set breakfast and Dan ordered the same but the man appeared again saying that they had no sausage. We asked if we could have extra bacon instead but he didn't have a clue what we were asking so we changed the order completely and got two chicken burgers and fries. Because the cafe is situated on the main road which really isn't a road at all and more like a dirt track, we kept getting dust in our eyes and mouthes every time a car passed but the workers at the cafe wetted the road to stop the spray of dust.
When the burger arrived it looked yummy but wasn't what i expected. The chicken were like chicken patties you would find in an indian chicken and chip shop but it was still tasty and i polished mine off. We stayed at the same cafe for a while trying to import and upload photos from our cameras onto facebook which was taking us forever to do. Once we uploaded a reasonable amount of photos we headed back to the guesthouse to shower and chill out.
We came back out in the evening and decided to have a little walk about. We came across a shopping mall thing which was like a bigger version of the in-shops at stratford and as soon as we stepped in we felt like it was harder to breath inside, it just felt so stuffy and thick. This was definitely a spot for locals as we quickly noticed we were the only tourists in sight. We felt a bit peckish so got a box of biscuits from a stall inside the shopping mall and headed out to find somewhere for dinner.
We stumbled across an outdoor restaurant place, more like a pavement which has been temporarily been made into a street cafe. We both had a fancy for noodle soup as it's so tasty and soooo cheap so we ordered two, with chicken as well as two baguettes. The food took a while to get to us as usual but when it came it was delicious. We settled the bill and began to stroll back to the guesthouse so we could sort out what we were taking with us to the tree top explorer.
