Yesterday was a very enjoyable day. Woke up and weather was amazing, no cloud in sight, think it was in the 30's! Our plan was to head to the beach, we are staying with the Chilton family in Warawee and their eldest son-20, is taking us around and showing us lots of things. We went to the beach with Dave and his friend Rodder's. We went to Fresh water beach a local one, not massive surf but about the same size as cornwall on a good day! Not the home and away beach! We are goign there with Dave on Sunday. We all ventured into the sea, Katie and I not expecting such rough waves. Getting dunked so many times by the force of the waves! Disaster struck the second time we went in- Katie got flipped by a wave and nearly lost her bikini bottoms!! Luckily she didn't!! milly also managed to get whiplash... So we thought sunbathing was better for us! Didn't see any sharks too! In the afternoon we went back to the city, to central quay, this is where we expected to catch a cruise but the last one went at 4.00 so instead we got a ferry to Darling Harbour, just as fun and cheaper. Looked around the harbour did a bit of shopping, Katie still needs to catch up with Milly on the shopping but she is slowly getting there! Milly unfortunatly lost one of her contacts so then she was walking around with one eye shut, looking a bit strange! Also with a sunglass mark on one side of her face! So cool! Got the ferry back with an amazing view of the bridge and opera house and city all lit up at night. Had a Starbucks and went home!
