Hi everyone-Happy valentines day to you all! Right well we ahev been so busy these past days! We left Sydney very early on monday morning-up at 5am!! Got onto the Oz Experience bus with 13 other people. All very nice. But unfotunatly no fitties for me and Katie! Drove to Barrington took 5 hours of something long like that! Slept for most of it! arrived in the middle of no where! No signals on our mobiles!!NOOOOO! anyway we coped! Was lovely there, the real Oz out back! We all went straight into the River and had a swim to cool down, but Milly bashed into a rock wich got in her way, so now all scraped down her side. That night we went night kyacking- they siad white water rafting NOT AT ALL!! was a laugh though but so many rocks that we got stuck on. Katie got stuck for about 10mins on one rock was left behind all on her own untill she got rescuded. She was laughing too much she couldn't try and get herself off the rock anymore! The instucter had to get out and push her! Milly however got stuck in the end rapids the fun fast ones! But great fun with everyone. Then it was in the hot tub with everyone. Bugs everywhere and lots of frogs which jumped all over katie, and Milly managed to collect lots in her kyack. We also saw our first lot of wild wallaby's(little kangaroos) Not seen any snakes though! Then we had a 6 hour drive to Arraworra, surfing!! Got there and it was poring with rain, met up with another oz experience bus with lots more nice people. Had surf lesson that evening, Milly missed the lesson and went in with one guy (to show off her skills to the rest of the group but i only actually saw her come in about twice!!!-instead she went out to look cool and pose sitting on her board!)Anyway but the waves were much more powerful than cornwall but still the same size. Katie slowly learnt how to stand up for like the 5th time!!! That night we went and sat on the beach and drank and had fun chatting to everyone, we both strated lots of singing but only the surf instructer Frank(cant remember his name) joined in! Moring time another surf lesson but that was only for 30 mins as there were loads of portugese man o'war- lots of people got stung but we are both pros so didn't! We are now in Byron Bay staying in a nice hostel but in an apartment with 6 other people, sharing a kitchen adn sitting room with them. we have not yet talked to them as we wanted to go out and explore! Out tonight with everyone on our bus to cheeky monkey's should be a lot of fun! It is very laid back here a hippy place. Beach tomorrow if it is sunny as it is still cloudy adn rains a bit, but still hot!
