So across the border and into into Alice Springs we went... arrived and settled into Alice, a surprisingly developed town with 24,000 characters and a very developed feel to it with Todd Mall and plenty of shops everywhere... only the odd aberiginal selling paintings by the side of the road to suggest otherwise!
Spent a few days in Alice, checked out the embarassingly dry 'Spring', watched sunset from Anzac Hill, followed the Todd River (the host to an annual regatta with open bottomed freddy flinstone style boats which people run down as its continuously dry) and checked out a few didgereedoos!
The middle tour was unreal... saw Kata Tjuta, Uluru and Kings Canyon over the course of 3.5 days which i'll never forget... learned heaps about aberiginal culture, tradition and swagged (SLEEPING BAG WITH BUILT IN MATRESS) under the most incredible skies for 3 nights, shooting stars galore! Oh and rode a camel!
