Amazing Franz Josef.. After driving 8 hours from Kaikoura and arriving in the pitch black we had no idea of our surroundings at the campsite. Kaikoura (Wednesday 29th June, Thursday 30th June, Friday 1st July) Kaikoura is billed as the whale watching, dolphin swimming, crayfish eating hub of the east coast of the south island of New Zealand .... we were happy to pitch up here for a couple of nights!
