That is so funny, Harry had chicken pox in Prague and I had to go to the 5 storey night club on my own, spooky similarities! I am with Mum, would love to see photos, I realise though that it is very hard to put them on in Europe.
Totally jealous of you just so you know.... luv Elise :)

Hi Mike and Beki - Such typical comments from Alana and Elise. Mike, the spelling and grammar leaves a bit to be desired, but the blogs are still interesting. I hope that Beki is feeling better and the hives don't get too bad. Maybe it is something that she ate. Anyway, we will look forward to the photos and especially the one of Beki's hives. Mike you really have no idea!!. Phantom sends her love and is still in love with the bed and room. If you don't move back, Alana will use the room. Love Mum

Hi guys,
Your travels sound so great! I have been relaying them to all the jealous people at work, especially Ash who travelled with us last year, she sympathises with me that we are not there now! I am writing as something in your last blog peaked my interest..... expensive handbag? Please tell me all about it and just to back you up it is totally justified to push Michael out in the rain to protect the handbag!
Keep in touch! love Elise :)

Hi Mike & Beki - It is so great to read your latest blogs and to see your photos. I have been on leave for the last week and didn't get the chance to read them. Also, I am keeping up with printing them. Elise & Harry have got the house title so everything should start to move forward with their moving in. The Eagles were terrible on the weekend again, so we will just have to be happy with the few wins that we get. The game next week is against Sydney, but I don't count on too much success. I will leave it up to Lauren to give you a blow by blow description of the match etc. It was great to see the Paris photos and to recognise some of the sights. Phantom is still enjoying the bed, I can't see why she is so attached to it. Anyway, you will have a problem getting her out of the room when you get back. She will spend the night at the door putting her paws under the door to frighten Beki. Keep well and we miss you both. Love Mum

Haha, I just got the "Solve the Sum" wrong!
Anyway, Bek, I was going to mention it in an e-mail, but you are so right. The Berliner Kebabs are the best in the entire world. Whatever they choose to call them- Gyros, Donas, Kebabs- all fantastic and CHEAP! I rate them highly. Keep a look out fr them in Rome too. It seems criminal to be eating a kebab in thehome of pasta and pizza, but it was a moment of desperation and pouring rain.
Have you had the sausages? The Currywurst in Berlin I think is the 'native sausage'. I wasn't overly impressed though- mind you, how impressed did I expect to be paying 2 euro on a road-side corner?? Nurenburg sausage was good and you obviosly have to try the Bratwurst- but wait til Munich I hear?
Ok, be good and don't eat too much sausage!

Mike, they did it!
A win! Against Adelaide, yeeeesssss!
WEST COAST reverted to contested, one-on-one football to smother Adelaide's stars and run out 50-point winners at Subiaco Oval on Saturday night.
The 14.13 (97) to 5.17 (47) victory keeps West Coast's season alive and snaps a seven-game losing streak.
It was veterans Andrew Embley, Chad Fletcher and Michael Braun who stood up and refused to accept a record equalling eighth consecutive defeat, playing with considerably more vigour than their opponents at every contest.
In the final term the crowd was treated to the first free kick resulting from the changed interchange rules. Second gamer Ryan Davis left the holding bay a fraction early as debutant Tim Houlihan came from the field.
Ivan Maric scored from the resulting 50m penalty, but fittingly crowd favourite David Wirrpunda, in his 200th match, cancelled it out moments later with a major of his own.
The Eagles had winners all over the ground with Matt Priddis (34 possessions) prolific while Matt Rosa (35) was able to find the ball and keep Crows star Simon Goodwin to 17 touches.
In many ways West Coast won the game by performing evenly themselves and targeting the Crows stars. Brett Burton was not sighted on Brett Jones while Adam Selwood largely sacrificed his game to destroy Andrew McLeod's.
Both sides did everything they could to keep the other in the game early, combining to kick seven straight behinds. Not even milestone man Wirrpanda could break the drought, spraying an open shot wide along the ground from directly in front. But the 28-year-old made amends with relentless forward-line pressure to set up Chris Masten for his first AFL goal.
The Eagles started much better than the Crows, their forwards pushing hard up the ground while Embley, Fletcher and Rosa were heavily involved in setting up from the back half.
West Coast was relentless in the second half, its senior players controlling the ball through the middle while Josh Kennedy and Ben McKinley both kicked impressive goals - the latter an instinctive snap from an almost impossible angle.
Both sides had opportunities to alter the margin in the third term but ultimately things would remain the same, both sides booting three goals five. Nathan Van Berlo and Graham Johncock were opportunistic for the Crows but it was West Coast leaders Embley and Braun who stood up to hold West Coast's advantage.
Brent Staker declared West Coast's intentions to begin the final term, booting his first, and the home side didn't let the interchange muddle and Maric goal shake their resolve. Wirrpanda's second and a first for Brad Ebert sealed the win with the former just fluffing a fairytale finish to the Indigenous Round clash, his set shot on the siren registering as a behind.
Goals West Coast: Ben McKinley 2, Andrew Embley 2, David Wirrpanda 2, Dean Cox 2, Chris Masten, Josh Kennedy, Steven Armstrong, Brent Staker, Brad Ebert, Michael Braun Adelaide: Ivan Maric 2, Nathan van Berlo 2, Graham Johncock
Best West Coast: Andrew Embley, Matt Priddis, Chad Fletcher, Brett Jones, Matt Rosa, Brent Staker. Adelaide: Scott Thompson, Nathan van Berlo, Graham Johncock, Ivan Maric.
By the way, I didn't write that, in case you were wondering. I thought you'd like some great news from home! Sorry Bek, not much for you! The Winter Escapes magazine came out!
