Hi Mike & Beki - I am glad that you have remembered my words of wisdom. Italy when it is hot can be gross, but they do have the best gelati. I don't know about the tomato dish - yuk!! Anyway, enjoy the last few weeks. Phantom will enjoy the last few weeks of sleeping on the bed. Love Mum

Hey Guys,
Woohoo, pasta land! Your next 2 stops are some of my favourite places! You can come home and say, "Oh, I spent some of the European summer in the French Riviera, I'm soooo posh". If you're looking for a nice swimming beach near Nice, Ville Franche, which is one train stop up from Nice (towards Monaco) is a sandy beach- not rocky like NIce itself and some of the others. If you are staying at Villa Saint Exupery they have a really good info sheet about how to get there using bus/ train. I know by now, you have had a lot of nice views, but the view from Eze (on the way to Monaco) is really beautiful. BUT- there is a bit of a walk up a hill and if its hot and you can feel the hives a-coming, be wary. There is a nice garden up the top with lady-statues where you can see along the coast. I have a picture of it as my desk-top.
Anyway, can't believe you've had some much time away already! I was booking my next hair cut and you'll be almost home! Don't think about it though!
Sample some limoncello in CInque Terre and watch the sun set!

Hi guys,
Oh my goodness the Amalfi Coast looks so beautiful! Breathtaking! Both times I have been to Italy I was meant to get there and something came up and we didn't. 1st time was because of the death car ride to get there, no offence to Dad. I was actually really quite sad to read that you guys will be back in 5 weeks, I have really been enjoying living vicariously through your blogs and photos! So funny to hear that safety man number 2 is still looking out for rickety chair lifts, while safety man one has put so much security in and around Jakey's new doggy door that I can't really figure out how to go outside!
Anyway enjoy your last 5 weeks, it goes too fast!
luv Elise :)

Hi Mike & Beki - What the Gladiators aren't real???? Your boat trip to Capri sounds like ours to Rottnest for Jada's wedding. The boat was pitching up and down and side to side. I thought I was going to die. Your travels sound great and it is certainly flying by. Before you know it you will be home. I will be back in Perth on Saturday and it will be great to see everyone, including Elise & Harry's new place, and of course, Jakey and Phantom. Keep well - Love Mum

Hi guys!
Ok Vatican if I remember is cover shoulders to knees, shorts should be okay if they are long. I am sure having a doggy at Nonna's would be fine, mine has already destroyed the place enough that I am sure yours couldn't do too much more damage! We are moving this weekend, very exciting but a bit sad! So glad you guys are gonna move in when you get back, we will clean and make it very pretty for you. Beki, so jealous of the gelati, you are so right with the haven't lived comment! Hey if its any consulation I think arancini are what we call pundons so Mike you have had them but find some for Beki! Enjoy Rome, eat enough pasta that I feel it over here!
love Elise :) xoxoxo

HI Mike & Beki - I am over in Sydney at the moment, working here for 2 weeks. I came over just after the Sydney win over the Eagles. What a horrible game. It looks as though you are having a great time and I really enjoy reading your blogs. When you get a dog, don't get a horrible big one, just a smaller one, but I am sure that Dad will be fine with a dog at Nonna's. Keep having fun. Love Mum

Hi Guys,
Just updated myself with your blogs! Salzburg sounds so great, were you able to skip along the benches in the I am 16... building? And did Mike twirl you around like the handsome Nazi in the movie? Oh Leisel...
The Eagles played Sydney on Saturday and I would have preferred to have watched the 100 point stripping again. 5 points- Sydney took the lead with maybe 1 minute to go. I can't describe the hurt, I really wanted the win. We were up the whole game. It was definately a game I should have taped and watched once I knew the result. Sydney always do this to us, why.... why.. WHY!!!
It's raining heaps at the exact moment. My friends on SunRise were telling me there is a wild weather warning. Enjoy the European Summer while you can!
I'm sorry, this is a bit of a gloomy message. I'm trying to move on from the Eagles, I was just so invested and so excited- we were almost there. Caught that Purple Fever which is going around Perth. I'm going to track down Essendon for this week and kick them all in the ankles before the game. Looking forward to waving the jacket (fingers crossed!!!). Hope you're enjoying the brews of Munich!

Hi Bek and Mike, Keep up the effort with the blogs. I know a number of people (non rellies) who are reading them with much excitement for you both. Terry Scobie Smith says he knows as much about you as I do now! (That's a real worry!) Here at home we are coping quite well. Camping in the back of the house is so much fun. Just been to visit Justin, Rachel, and Everett (and Rufus) at Keiths place. They send their best to you both as well. Nanna and Grandad are also keen to let you know they are missing you both. Continue to look after each other and enjoy the moments together.

Hi Mike & Beki - Well, where were the photos of Beki's hives? We were all waiting to see them. This last stop sounds like so much fun and just as well it included some bike riding, to exercise off some of those extra kilos. Love Mum
