Hi Eeryone,

DOnt bother readiong this if you have a busy day in the office....because iit will be the most boring blog yet. We have decided that we could definatelz survive on big brother or in prison because we have been in lock down. We have both got a horrible cold and have spent the last 4 days in Munich in our hotel room. Thank goodness its a hotel and not a hostel since we dont want to talk and we can cough and splutter as much as we want to.

We attempted to go out a few times on a walking tour but didint make it out the door. Mike says he gets weak brushing his teeth so you can understand what its like to want to be a tourist at this moment. We did manage to go out and try and find a chemist that spoke english. The one that we did find tried to sell us about 5 kinds of natural medicines but we politely declined. It made us look like drug addicts who were only after the hard stuff...which we were.

So we are in a slight state of panic and hope that mum got ourmessage requesting you send some cold and flu tablets with Renee to Koh Samui? Otherwise we might have to get some pet steriods or something strange from the thai chemists like we did last time.

We did manage yesterday to go out and get some beer steins from the beer hall. You know Mike is sick when he refuses and shudders at the thought of drinking beers. So we just went to the gift shop instead of trying to steal a stein from the beer gardens like everyone else. This seemed like a fairly easy task but I almost fainted on the tram ride home. The germans dont seem to believe in air conditioning and the summer cant be brutal here.

All in all our stay in Munich was not to b ad. It really is love when you can entertain each other for four day without killing each other. We made entertainment for ourselves by trying to lip read the english shows dubed in german. We watched bad bad bad reality tv even by Beks standards. We played games such as Mike having to recall all of dads borthers and sisters names along with their better halfs which he did !! And we also decided what we would do if we won the lotto.We are off to Thailand this evening ad we are so so soso so excited to meet up with Renee (cousin) and my very good friend Carla and their boyfriends. It will be so nice to see people we know and we can even seperate and go to the day spa and watch footy etc. We know its going to be a crazy time and the perfect way to finish our round the world adventure.
