We had a great leaving party at home for family and close friends. I had a great send off from school with lunch and nice words in assembly. We have been for numerous farewell meals with friends and colleagues.We have had lots of cards and good wishes etc. It makes us realise what lovely people we know. We'll miss you.

Bags are packed; tickets, visas and passports ready; cupboards are empty; house is secure- all systems go.

We took photos of the snow to remind us of the cold when we are sweating in the tropics.
