Hi Michael - great to see that you are still uploading pics - what a fantastic journey you're on. Not much to say on my front - still at Cadbury (but not for much longer I guess). Just in case I forget, my pruivate email address is [email protected]. Will and Laverne are well and he is due to start school in September - so we are frantically trying to potty train him - oh the joys of parenthood. Make sure you stay safe and drop us a line sometime - we need cheering up from our routine lives! Take care - Ian, Laverne & Will xx

Well Ive been logging to have a peep now and again and Ive got to say this is great reading and the images are excellent...especially the one with 'The Admiral' Nelson - we didnt need him too much today though after beating the red scousers 1-0.
Keep going Mick - your experiences to date must have been amazing and I think we probably all envy you...whilst you are in South America - we will be in Cumbria once more this New Year...just for a change.
Hope you had a great christmas...but I do need to know one thing though - did you take Cranium with you?

Mr B
Mr Sanderson,
Hope you can read this. trust you are not in jail or Camp x-Ray. Assumed that since you are actually in BA that it may have been ypu that stole the Bush child's mobile phone. If so respect due.
Only an hour and a half 'til the first test starts. Cooooooome on you Engeralaaaaand!
Buenos noches

Hi Michael,
A great website, obviousley a few hours hard work keeping it updated. I have followed your lead and left employment with Telstra after 33 years. I had plans of globetrotting but family comittments have put that on hold for at least two years. I am working part time for a small communications company now.
I nearly had a run in with the fire authorities again, restrictions on already and only mid spring. Lucky it was only a small heap and burned away quickly, I probably couldnt have charmed them out of a fine as you managed, particularly as it would have been second offence this year.
The short lived triumph of holding "the ashes" is about to end for the poms shortly , you are South Americam now , aren't you? If you do wish to return to Melbourne for the Boxing Day test, there is always a bed here for you of course, or any other time, you dont really have to clear the bottom acre again, either. I will try to get a photo of the Australia's winning delivery for you. to complement the photo you have of the last series.
I hope you are well and finding life in South America as fulfilling as you had hoped. Obviously the Argentinians don't hold a grudge with the English backpacker.
Cheers, Rob Hooper

Hiya Mick, just been having a good look at all your photos...what a job that is!! They are great though, pitty your camera has had enough, hope you get it up and working again soon. So you are about to settle in one place for a bit, just in time for us to send you birthday cards and presents eh? It's the big 40 for me this weekend and I'm out making the most of it, I've forgotten what it's like to have a hang over, so I'll no doubt find out Sunday morning.
James and I have just been swimming, he loves it. I'm finding all these baby activity days exhausting, baby group tomorrow, music Friday, it's much harder than working (that's what I tell Andy anyway)
Well, speak to you soon.Enjoy your dancing and guitar lessons.
Love Carol.

Hi Mick
Fabulous reading ur trip.Really interesting and sounds amazing.Just in case u were thinking of returning .DONT. B'burn(if it at all possible) has got worse .. and I mean shockingly worse. Stay on the road mate and enjoy yourself . just been out to Ho Chi Minh myself but I dont think that i did it justice as you appear to have done . Carry on mate for as long as you can .
I think that the photo with the overpaid bladder from ewood is one to put on the fireplace to keep the burgkars away,It would make a fine & better portrait if you were sporting a claret shirt but im sure that you will mature with time ....

Hey Martin, I get your messages now and then but can´t reply apart from here. Drop me your email address to [email protected]. Can´t believe you´re still doing time at the chocolate factory. Despite appearances, I´d still be interested to know what´s going on there if you have any hot gossip.
All the best, up the Rovers!

Hi Mick, I have been keeping up with your trip and it is fantastic reading, it certainly seems like you are having a great time - how will you ever revert back to a 9-5 job! Were you impressed with the Great Ocean Road? During my last month at Cadbry I s asked to go to Melbourne to help out with Workshops! What a great gig! During my time out there (3 weeks) I took a solo drive down the GOR started in Melbourne and finished at the 12 Apostles. I was impressed but I think I was more focussed with getting there and back to \melbourne in a day than enjoying it. It doesn't seem like you do have that problem as you take your time traversing the World!! Enjoy it! Cheers Martin

Hello Mick!
Thank you for your post card from New Zealand! You sure have seen and experienced a lot so far. This web-site is very nice idea and certainly good way to keep in touch with you. We have had beautiful summer here in Finland so far (best in years). and we have been travelling a lot around by car - and still we have 2 weeks to go from our summer holiday. Wish you all the best! Greetings from Finland from all of us.
