After breakfast and most of mile, we returned to the cabin and finished most of our packing. We both placed a couple of cases outside for collection. I had one more to go but that waited until just before dinner.
When we started this cruise, we had the itinerary, tickets and other bits of paper held on the cabin walls by magnets. Now the walls look bare. Sad.
We didn’t do the quiz in Champion’s today as we wanted to see ‘The Pursuit’ in Carmen’s. This is the Chase but with three contestants. Shaun Wallace, the ‘Dark Destroyer’, was the Chaser. They came round and asked for volunteers. My so-called friends volunteered me and I was chosen. The first lady scored 80, I scored 40 as did the third lady. In the Chase we scored 20. Shaun only scored 13, but it wasn’t fixed. Oh no! I got a bottle of wine for my trouble and when I got upstairs for the Syndicate I asked Caroline to give it to a team that had never won. She chose Bob and Carol’s table. I hope that shamed table 39! Shaun asked the questions and we scored a miserable 8.
According to log that was delivered to our cabin today, we will have sailed 18034 nautical miles on this South American Grand Tour.
In 50 days Barbara and I will be setting sail onboard Symphony of the Seas. No blog from that cruise though.
