Arrived about 8am. Whenever the ship arrives in port there's a lot of shaking and my cabin rattles like hell! After breakfast, the six of us plus Norman and Lynda took the shuttle bus into Mindelo. We just strolled around, meeting up with Adrian and Ann on the way. We saw the fish market, where women were carrying the fish in bowls on their heads. We wandered through a couple of markets and then decided to walk back. On the way, we stopped for coffee and free wifi and then a little later at a bar, where we had a local beer.

Mindelo is an OK place, but the islands are very dry and it's not a place I think I'd hurry back to.

The sail away was very windy and quite cool. Marco Polo was moored by us, but this time we left first. They're off to the Amazon, so it will be interesting to see if they're any where near us in Recife.
