The weather is getting cooler, it's down to 17 today, so long legs are the order of the day.
After breakfast Rob and I went to the talk on Alan Turing in the theatre. I'm not sure why it was so early, but it was well attended. I then joined Barbara in Anderson's until lunch, which we ate in Medina today. I left the table early and managed to find a washing machine free, so grabbed it. I had to wait for a dryer, though. If this trip is anything like the last one, all the machines will be switched off whilst we're in Californian waters.
I went to Battle of the Sexes, but had to leave quite early to go to the laundrette. We lost, so with one more quiz to go this sector, the men have lost overall.
Today was Glasshouse the rematch. A few weeks ago Rob and I had a flight of South American reds. I paid for the wines and he paid for the cheese. This time around it was the reverse, but with different robust reds. We both actually preferred the wines in the order we drank them Pinot Noir, Rioja and Syrah. Afterwards we had a glass of Tannat, unfortunately, they'd run out of the wine we liked, so we had to have a Tannat/Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon mix, which was nice, but not as good.
Didn't go to Individual Quiz as I had a doze after the Glasshouse and woke up a bit late!! Barbara and I ate upstairs in Horizon for Thai night, the others ate in the usual place. Afterwards we took part in the Queen quiz, much to our surprise we won. So that's three sets of wine sorted. We thought that was us covered for the rest of the formal nights on the cruise, but the swines have sneaked in another three! So that's six formal nights on the sector. We tried for bottle number 40 in the Syndicate Quiz, but lost by two points.
When I walked back from cocoa (camomile tea, actually), I noticed that both the top deck pools were full again and not slopping about either.
Another alcohol free day tomorrow, the second within a week.
