We arrived late by about 90 minutes. I'd booked a snorkelling excursion to the Great Barrier Reef. We were supposed to check in at the Curzon Theatre at 9.40 for a 10.00 departure. Because of the poor weather yesterday we arrived late. The port is an industrial one and about 40 minutes from the actual city. We arrived to a humid temperature of 26 degrees. My original departure time was 8.30 but I actually departed at 11.00. I was on a River Cruise and City Sights excursion. Got up at 5.20 for the sail in. It was well worth it, an amazing sight. After we docked, we went down to the Stout's cabin, as they had a great view of the Opera House.
