Our 21st day at sea, which means that we're 20% through the cruise. It's going so fast. The weather has gotten much cooler, much quicker than I expected. It was only 18 at lunch time. Because of this I decide to take part in the individual quiz, which was on capitals. I scored a lousy 9 out of 20 and was 1st equal! Of course I lost in the tie break. The men dropped 2 points in the Battle of the Sexes. We're still in the lead going into the final day, which apparently will be more and bigger rounds.
Although I'd started the day by wearing shorts and a t-shirt, by the time I played deck quoits, I was in jeans and sweatshirt. Final formal night tonight. Beef Wellington and Baked Alaska, very good. Adrian Walsh in the theatre tonight, still amusing. We were given the menus for this sector, (well all except tonight's and tomorrow's). Lost the penultimate Syndicate Quiz.
The dreaded norovirus has struck. The salt and pepper shakers had been removed from our restaurant, but not from Cafe Bordeaux. The waiters did the honours. The jigsaw puzzles have disappeared from the library and staff are constantly wiping the banisters. Hope I can avoid it.
