Today we woke up, had breakfast by the sea and strolled along the immaculately clean golden sands to our sunbathing spot! It's such a hard life! I'm going to need a holiday to get over this!
We sunbathed all morning long and it was hot hot hot! Did a bit of snorkelling but it's windy today so the water is milky from the sand!
I discovered the new way to avoid being mugged! Got our waterproof cases on the iPhone and then buried them in the sand! That way a mugger picks up my shorts whilst I'm snorkelling and we have time to get back before he digs his way down! Although this idea probably isn't as fool proof once I've published this blog and shared my secret really is it?
Went for lunch with Shima and Shaz by the sea again, relaxed for couple hours there... Got a pancake that's made only from 3 cups flour, salt and 1 cup water! Locals have it for breakfast here its called lempeng and they have it with butter! I still don't believe this can taste so good and not have eggs or milk so il be cooking this as soon as I'm home!
Tried to sleep on the beach in the afternoon but the sands hard from all last nights rain! Ended up covered in sand all over my burnt areas, ie my whole body!
Tried to put my tregus bar back in again before meeting the girls that night and repreirced the hole but couldn't quite get the bar through! Then was scared to walk outside my room with an ear full of blood in the jungle! Thats an invitation for all HIV infected Mosquitos to come rape my ear! And they certainly did! Woke up the next day with a rash of 12 bites all down my neck at that side! Who gets bitten on the neck?!
Had the BBQ again, choice is chicken, fish, ray, squid, crab with any sauce you could imagine and comes with fruit, potatoes you name it, it's huge! And well worth the wait!
The girls all wanted to go to a bar that was ladies night after for half price drinks! There were more guys than girls here! All single of course and the few ladies there were taken! Had one beer here as the loud music and flashing lights are too much when you want to chill after a day of burning in the sun!!
Realised i no longer had our room key! Retraced our steps to find it in the sand and ended up with a spare to check in the room and there it was! Oops! Got poo'd on by yet another bat in the process too! There's hundreds of them at night! Hopefully only the fruit eating kind at this neck of the woods though!
Such a nice chilled out day!! Back to reality of bussing it all day tomorrow! Pah!
