Well, it turned out to be leave your skirt in the closet type riding on Friday. It began with drizzling rain, followed be some snow which turned into a snow storm. Yep it was properly coming down and i was riding amongst fields that had a good 5cm or so covering them after a short while. The autobahn was hectic with loads of traffic that didnt give a rats that i couldnt see through the snow constantly covering my visor - people forget that riding a bike is not like riding a car.... It took around 7 hours to cover the 250km to get here to berlin. I got to a hostel and into the shower to find that i had a little frostnip on my toes and my fingers were not too happy with me either. After that i felt that the rest of my body had earned a nice cold beer, so thats what it got! Illput some pics of this ride up as soon as i can.

A couple of great days cruising round berlin seeing some sights and finding out about lots of the history in this place. Much of it quite sad. Each day has been cold and it snowed quite a bit last night and yesterday.... Tomorrow i plan on trying to get back to Hamburg and from there back up to Copenhagen to meet the 3 others who did the hard yards through central asia -Tim, Ben and Kate. Im sure we each have some stories to share over a beer or 2.... Looking forward to it
