PARISIAN TREKKING Our last day staying in the classy Madeleine area of Paris was spent wandering the streets, looking in some shops, and trekking to the nearby Louvre and gardens. LE KINGDOM MAGIC With jet lag pretty well beaten I took Jenell on her first ever trip to Disneyland (I'm a heaps tops husband). Despite the persistent rain we had a ball. FRENCH JET LAG We got into Paris at 7am today after our flights which all up lasted nearly 24 hours. The hotel staff have been awesome - they let us check in 3 hours early since we had nothing to do but kill time before finally getting to have a shower. After an 8 hour flight from Melbourne & a 2 hour stopover in Singapore, we're on the epic 15 hour (or something equally stupid) flight to Paris, which hit the skies at around midnight, Singapore time. We're faced with the dilemma of trying to get a full night's sleep during the latter portion of the flight, but we were already b*****ed before we took off. Pretty sure we've already had 2.5-3 dinners, which is confusing. A couple of cheeky beers may be useful....
