Gosh - thats Different, at first I thought it was very white, but its the blue making it look so gleamingly clean. I wonder what the inside is./was like ?

Oh wow! How pretty & beautifully designed. What fun! I think it is classic/original Wedgewood ;) Or a delicately iced cake. The crosses are at different angles (and not straight vertical). I wonder if that's purposeful or the effect of time. The ones painted above the door are interesting too. At first I thought it might be a St. Peter's church and that the crosses were upside-down. St. Peter insisted on being crucified that way, rather than dying in the same manner as Jesus, as his Lord. But I think they've been defined by the dots, to show them as maybe the coptic or some other cross. The Canterbury cross is an equal-sided cross.
