Oh yes, dear Mousehole. Love the clear green-tinged water behind the white sand. In my talking book of "The Mousehole" cat, the narrator says something like "The people who live there pronounce it 'mowzel', but you may say it as you wish", which I find delightful. SO glad you made it there. Did you see any cats - apparently there are a lot in Moushole. On our first visit (2003) there was one in the carpark when we arrived, being chatted to by a young girl. We thought that a perfect introduction.

A 'dreamy' fairy tale place. I bet you had fun on the bike - if indeed you were on the bike, maybe you walked ! ?

I'm back in Sale now, so looked up the book,"The Mousehole Cat". "One of these harbours is so small and the entrance between its great stone breakwaters is so narrow that fishermen called it 'the Mousehole'. The people who lived in the cottages
around the harbour grew fod of the name and they call their village Mousehole to this day. they say it in the Cornish way,
'Mowzel', but you may say it as you choose." Again, I love this perspective of the village. I took so many photos here, but missed this one. So, thank you again!
