On Weds. evening we walked to the old town section of Lucerne for a traditional swiss fondue at the Fritschi Restaurant and shared an apple strudel for dessert. Back at the hotel we found four of our fellow Viking cruisers in tbe lounge and sat to chat before calling it a night.

Viking provided a 2 hour walking tour on Thursday morning thru old town and then we found our own way to the Dying Lion of Lucerne carving and a beautiful church built in 1644 called St. Leger in the Court. Someone was playing the grand pipe organ as we walked thru...very moving experience.
