Brian: Friday, March 1 After a much needed 12 hours of sleep, we woke and walked down to one of the courtyards, where the hotel serves its guests breakfast each day. The food was really fresh and it was accompanied by a refreshing fruit juice, or jugo de frutas. Today was our first full day in Nicaragua! Merry: Thursday Feb 28 We landed mid-afternoon yesterday, picked up the car (a process that moved at a leisurely pace), and got on the road. They're not big on naming roads in Nicaragua, nor are they great about posting street signs for roads that do, in fact, have names.
