We managed to drag ourselves out of bed at 2:15am lol after only having 2 hours sleep!! We scrapped the last things together & off we went leaving the house at 3:10am.

We only got to Uttoxeter before we realised that Toy was chewing the AA French road map! The dreaded words " Are we nearly there yet? " were announced by Josh as we passed Newport Pagnell! Then once again as we joined the M25. Then the heavens opened up, all the way down to Dover.

A quick stop in McDonalds at 07:20 for breakfast and a toilet stop for the dogs just a few miles before Dover. 246 miles in, and we are now in the queue for boarding the ferry. The staff didn't even check the pet passports! It's 17 degrees and throwing it down! Just over half a tank of fuel left. Hope it's sunny on the other side.
