Had the chance to go to Horseback Africa today. It is about an hour and a half from Sandton. Lovely place ran by a couple who do horseback safaris and raise lions. Their passion is Lion conservation. We got to walk with 3 ten month old lions and play with younger ones. Also got to hold and feed this 2 week old serval kitten. Best day we had on our trip by far!

One of the interesting things we have noticed is there are numerous bottle water companies. We have not gotten the same company yet!

Later this afternoon we visited the capital city of Pretoria. We went to a memorial, union buildings, church square and the US embassy. Pretoria is 37 miles from Johannasburg.

We had the opportunity to visit the house Nelson Mandela lived in before and after prison. It is on the same street as a Desmond Tutu's house a couple of blocks apart. Kinda of amazing as they both won Nobel peace prizes!

This morning we took a tour of Johannesburg. We stayed on the motor coach because this is still a dangerous area for whites to be walking around. It was very interesting to see and hear about the history.
