Hiya im still in Luang Prabang in Laos its lovely here its sunny every day but gets really cold on a night so we have to use their stinky old blankets to keep us warm! There is a government curfew here where everyone has to be in by midnight or else! Everything closes down at 11.30 to allow for everyone to get home by midnight! We have seen some lovely temples along the way, we climbed 300 steps yesterday to see Phousi Temple where u can see all aroung Luang Prabang and the surrounding rivers. Im eating noodle and veg every day pretty much but u know what im like, i will eat anything! i tried some home made lao lao rice wine the other day in a remote village just off the river. Im not sure how they make it exactly but it tasted lovely! Weve decided to head off back to Vientiene (Laos capital city) on Monday, hopefully the bus journey will be better than the other day! It took us 11 hours to get here last week (should have been about 6-8 hours)because the bus kept on breaking down! The petrol pipe kept coming off so we had to keep stopping and refilling from a petrol canister instead! The driver seemed to know his stuff and fixed it tho. Were flying to Malaysia on tues instead of Cambodia. Il try keep u updated as much as i can and get more piccys on speak soon luv me xx
