Hello All

I have just arrived in Cape Town on what will be the last day of my organised tour through Africa.... We have just checked into our hostels ( I am staying in one called the Zebra Crossing ) Emptying the truck for the last time was strange, despite the fact I am ready to move on with my travels I will miss being on this tour.... I have met some really great people and despite constantly b****ing about sleeping in tents I will miss it!

Anyway - Cape Town is really beautiful - although Table Mountain does not look as impressive as expected. We went on a township tour through the poorer parts of Cape Town when we arrived, but after witnessing the way people in the villages live further north in Africa it was not that interesting or shocking!!

I tried to book a trip to Robben Island but it is fully booked until Friday - Rubbish! I am going to go down there anyway tomorrow see if there are any cancellations!! Will probably just end up chilling out and going on the Stellenbosch wine tour!

I am looking forward to not being woken up dead early by my tent being shaken! WOO

Quick note to Vic in todays journal entry! CONGRATS ON THE ENGAGEMENT!! it is about time someone made an honest woman of you..... Can't wait to speak to you!!! Apologies for not being there - Tell Jon I am going to kick his arse when I get back!! Whats he doing proposing when you can't ring me up and girly scream down the phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will update more about Cape Town over the next few days!! Then onto Oz!!!
