Ok so I haven't written in 20 days and they have been crazy ones.

Since new years I have:

- spent a hell of a lot of time figuring out my itinerary, parts of which are still quite fuzzy...

- bought a series of travel gadgets I am sure I will never use but I feel very Mac Givery so it's ok

- decided that I will attempt learning french while traveling through south america..?!?

- fell in love with my high school sweetheart

- decided that I will move back to Italy after my trip is over

and that's pretty much it.

Today I am packing packing packing...

the checklist is checked, the backpack is packed, the spirits are high, I think I am ready to go now.

Stay tuned, Francesca and I will write from the first stop: Melbourne!
