Today marked the first day with our EF Explore Group, woohoo! Tomorrow will be the first actual day and I couldn't be more excited. Today, however, was rocky from the start! We met at the gas station at 6:30 and waited for the supposed-to-be-here-at-6:50-bus but got here 7:15. I had to say goodbye to my parents which was hard, but I know they want me to have fun and not worry. I cried, but that soon turned into a smile when we got to Dallas! Then, we walked a couple of blocks to get to the train station to take us to the airport. We were all fine and dandy until the train doors closed, with 3 people from our group not being on the train! Luckily, everyone got together again and we went through checking our luggage, going through security, and eating lunch. At last! We boarded the plan for Boston. After that, we got our luggage, met with our tour director, Mary Anne, and got on a bus to our hotel! I think I liked the plane ride the most and walking around the airports the best. Those two simple activities are ones I really enjoyed! I didn't like, however, waking up at 5 am! I'm not a morning person at all, so that was really hard for me. At least all of the chaos was resolved and we made it to the hotel. I'm really excited about tomorrow because we get to meet our groups from Arizona and visit historic places and see really interesting things. I'm planning on buying a souvenir in every state!
