Wednesday was the start of my 21 day camping tour with Contiki. We drove from London, caught the ferry at Dover and eventually arrived in Paris. My tour manager is Christian, our cook is Logan and the fabulous Steve is our driver. I pitched my tent with the help of my new "tenty" Meghan. That night i was on duty to help out with dinner and was treated to my first taste of Escargo. After we went on our "city of lights" tour and had our first glimpse of the city, can canned at the Eiffel tower and cut laps of the Arc De Triomphe.

Today was a very big day! We started at the Eiffel tower and walked up through Jardin du Trocadero up to the Arc De Triomphe. Had chocolate crepes for lunch before going to Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre. Tonight the group went out for dinner. The restuarant was behind the Basilique du Sacre Coeur. After we went to Nouvelle eve a cabaret show before a very load wine and champagyne fuelled bus ride back to camp.

Paris is beautiful but i definatly need to get back to explore it a bit more in depth.
