Our friends have arrived!!! Yea!! We met with the Paris greeter today. She was a very sweet older lady. I should be embarrassed to say it but she walked us into the GROUND!! She lead us thru the Marais like a conductor leading a symphony. She was awesome !!! We went into gardens and parks. We saw restaurants and beautiful churches. Heck we even saw a restaurant in a church( Le Dome du Marais). We have returned to the apartment for a nap before dinner.

After seeing the Egyptian exhibit we were half dead. We stopped for lunch at some random place ( food was ok). I had some Tea, William had macaroons at a very cool tea shop. . The tea rejuvenated me enough to walk to the taxi stand! I loved the exhibit but I can't help thinking how incredibly cheeky it is to enter someone's home take their things and make a profit for 'your' trouble. Don't get me wrong I LOVE museums, but I always feel a little conflicted.....

Looks like the rain is going to reschedule our Marais tour. Off to the Louvre. Just as well, because we missed our scheduled visit on yesterday.

Yes ... I got to the boulanegrie (bakery) this morning, and dropped 20 ero on an assortment of breads, croissants, cookies, and such. Did I overdo it? Maybe. But I can guarantee you that none of it will go to waste (waist, perhaps, but not waste). We're on the way to meet a pariesien tourguide. This organization provides them for free (of course, donations are accepted). Going to huff it through the Marais district. A bientot!

Update----- I found some feet at the Louvre. I'm not sure they'll fit ! -—- OUR FEET HURT!! Our quest for eggs and sausage lead us on a long journey (1.6 miles... It COUNTS) to the Monoprix ( like target, sort of). I am ready to gnaw my feet off! Yesterday we walked 2.7 miles. I am going tonight the Lourve!! Can someone please carry me?!!
