Hi all

We leave Fiji today to head on to Samoa. We've finally managed to find some accomodation over there which has been a bit of fun

Fiji has been great. Just as we finished writing the other day Michael & Nicole, an aussie couple we'd met on a boat trip earlier in the week, dropped in to take us out in a car they'd hired. We had a good drive around the island looking at the villages and the rain forest

We met another aussie couple, Justin (or is that Jason!?!) & Rebecca from Melbourne who we've knocked around with in the resort quite a bit - they've promised to show off a bit of Melbourne while we're there

Due to Justin's persuasion Carl did his first scuba dive just off the beach by the resort. It was amazing - he had to roll into the water backwards off the boat. They swam with a shoal of about 100 fish, saw a couple of giant barracudas and a reef shark!! They swam amongst tha coral too - Carl's hooked now!

Today we had a cooking demonsstration o we can now make a lovely Fijian fish dish when we next see you!

The rest of the week we've been lazing by the pool in the sun (sorry about that!), playing volleyball and drinking and eating!!

What's best is that we have more of that for the next two weeks!! The eating has to stop soon though or we'll be unable to fit in our clothes!!
