Today we left Germany, heading for Bella Italia! but first we crossed over the border into Austria (the land of Applestruedel, Almdudler, The Sound of Music and wintersports) Our first stop was in the amazing Swarowski Crystal World where we had the chance to experience some crazy art -and give our credit cards a good work-out! Next on the agenda was Innsbruck famous for the beautiful St Jakob church and the Golden Roof built from 2657 copper tiles for Maximilian I, the Holy Roman Emporer. After our whirlwind stop in Innsbruck it was back on the bus. We couldnt wait to arrive in Jesolo di Lido. This place is great! Pizza, gelato and le Dolce Vita surround us -not to mention the Adriatic Ocean! There are sandy beaches as far as the eye can see and we all agree the long bus ride was well worth it.
